Job Scope:
? Reconcile General Ledger accounts and review problematic accounts. Direct staff in follow-up of accounts.
? Oversee staff and ensure all reports are processed promptly such as month-end closing reports, monthly forecast and variance reports and visually review for accuracy.
? Control and track inventories of Hotel?s operational, departmental and team member meal budgets.
? Work with the Hotel Finance Office staff, assigning tasks and giving guidance, monitoring accuracy.
? Calculate and produce daily deposit transmittals for checks received.
? Conduct monthly payroll audits, issue all pay checks.
? Train individuals in PeopleSoft - Hotel Back Office Computer System, Finance Network, Excel (Advanced Macros) and MS Word.
? Handle special project assignments as requested by the Head of Resort Operation
? Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Qualifications:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
? Good working knowledge of Hospitality accounting systems.
? Strong working knowledge of Finance Network, Excel (Advanced Macros) and Word/MS office.
? Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and prepare and analyze complex financial reports and make judgments
